About Me

" I strongly believe in the importance of belief - both in ourselves and in one another. In my experience, people do not simply learn information or make decisions based solely on logic or need; our choices are often shaped by emotion, instinct, and a sense of
trust and possibility. "

Caroline

I am passionate about the impact that caring, committed educators can have on a child’s life. When children and families feel genuinely supported, understood, and valued, meaningful learning and growth can take place. This belief underpins my approach, ensuring that relationships, empathy, and encouragement are at the heart of everything I do.

My Mission

Through my extensive experience as a Head Teacher at a number of SEN schools, I have developed a deep understanding of the diverse needs within SEND, alongside the importance of early intervention, clear communication, and joined-up working.

SEND for Families mission is to support, empower, and advocate for children and young people with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities, and their families, with a commitment to creating an inclusive, understanding, and responsive environment where every family feels heard, valued, and supported.

Rooted in empathy, lived understanding, and professional expertise, my focus is on making complex systems more accessible, reducing isolation for families, and promoting an inclusive, child-centred practice, and in addition to direct support for families, I engage with educators, local authorities, and professionals to encourage collaboration, transparency, and improved outcomes for children with SEND.

And so I work with staff and schools seeking to engage young people in memorable, exciting, and highly challenging ways, so that they will attract young people to dare to believe and move them toward their core goals.
